I've been thinking quite alot lately about using this set up for my Acc and Str, when I get to level 65.
Shiva's Claws
Spectacles
Temple Cyclas
Temple Gloves
Sun Rings x 2
Brown Belt
Amemit Mantle
Meat Mithkabobs
Most Mnks that I've seen, seem to stick around the +20ish mark for Acc when exping, and this set up gives you that. Str wise this gives +21 which I think is good aswell. The only problem is, some higher level Mnks that I've spoken to about this set up think that although it gives a good amount of Str and Acc, I'd probably be sacrificing too much damage by switching Spartan Cesti or Cross-Counters, for Shiva's Claws.
Any thoughts?*Characters*

There is nothing wrong with breaking out the Shiva's Claws to fight with in EXP parties, especially when it usually means you are able to bring out the Brown Belt and STR gear.
I pretty much used only Shiva's from 65-73. At 73 I could start to use between 5 and 10 Accuracy, so I could start equipping the H2H of my choice. I think that hitting more often in this level range is more important than hitting hard, as you are usually trying to keep up TP with THF, RNG, SAM, or dual weilding WAR (that usually have like 30+ Acc).
Don't let the 11 DMG on Shiva's fool you - just about any H2H weapon past 65 is going to deal big damage thanks to your many H2H delays and high STR/Attack. Shiva's usually lead to much more damaging Asuran Fists as well due to the +8 Acc.Vargas 75 MNK - Ragnarok (Retired)

besides from what i remember of the math, the +damage on our weapons means less and less as we level up anyway, due to our damage number coming from our str via some rather basic equation (the formula is somewhere on these boards)

the +dmg makes a great difference, even if it's only let's say 4 dmg difference, the overall output dmg can range from 10-20 dmg difference
i have the same experience as redlimit, i was testing out tact hooks vs feral fangs, and the dmg was around 90-110 for hooks and 100-130 for fangs and they happened to be only 4 dmg difference.
