a very good alternative for sniper rings

with life belt (10 accuracy), temple cyclas (5 accuracy), spartan cestis(2 accuracy), temple boots and spick kneckle (3 dex for both so that 3 accuracy) i have a total of 20 accuracy. now if i were a elvan drk that wouldnt be enough but a monk has naturally high dex so its plenty. if im fighting any normal IT+ mob ill eat mithkabobs i will land most of my hits, but if im fighting IT++ or a HNM i eat eyeball soup for 10 accuracy.

i actually killed simurg the other day and this pld recorded all the dmg delt and it turned out i had the best accuracy and did the most dmg on simurgh not including the blms. my accuracy was 20% on simurgh yay :sweat:

for god's sake they have an item in auction...spectacls or whatever the spelling is...those are made for the blind elvaans lol

they shouldnt be equipped based on job...but on race which is Elvaan lol

why wouldnt u go for a brown belt ?

i jus spent 800k for my spartan cestis not too long ago give me a break. brown belt isnt as great as ppl say. black belt on the other hand thats worth goin for. so im doin my brown belt quest now so i can most likely sell it then do black belt quest

I tried them and I think they are Crap. I will never use them again. Mithkabobs Are so much Better then this food. The Str, the 22% Att up are much better. I prefer to use Gear to enhance my char.

i dont really see whats so crap about them..i mean ur not a bst or a brd...why else would you need CHR...?

I tested them as you said the stats increase are +10 Acc. I did seem to hit more(but for very crap damage) and I also had alot of times where I missed alot. Mithkabob > Jack 'O' Lantert. STR and Att% up and Sniper's Ring definitely make this Item worthless. In the case I get Aggro, which usually happens after Raging Fists, I will switch to my Pussiance and Deft Ring.

He's not referring to the -Chr hit but the fact that the lantern doesn't give +22% ATK which really kills our damage. You're better off wearing +dex if you can't afford snipers imho, on most of the stuff your fighting especially shelled things like crabs and beetles that +atk is critical.

As far as my own equip goes I own both snipers and sun rings as well as brown belt and life belt. Depending on what i'm leveling on and what the PT config is i switch around with my accessories.
