Black monk belt quest

I think this quest,will open up after both purple and brown quests are cleared(brown belt quest could ony be opened when you clear purple belt quest.I did clear both of them,so i found it pretty surprising theres a new black mnk belt quest i found on a random site after the patch a few days ago.It says,talk to vola,and event will generate when you walk out of the tenshoudo door in low jeuno...but this did not happen for me:confused: ?Anyone had this happen?I am sure its not related to fame as i have a darn load of quests cleared everywhere

Either you have to be at least level 70 to get it, or you still don't have enough Tenshodo fame. I don't know myself, but you should be able to still get the items without having the quest first, just like for the purple belt/brown belt quests.

I think it definately has a level cap.

I have both Purple and Bown Belt quests done, and I have at least Avatar quest level fame in all cities or higher, and I still do not get the Black Belt quest.

I am level 59, so I'm guessing it has a level restriction on the acceptance of the quest.

it's said that ur MNK's lvl has to be 70 or up to get the quest, along w/ the fame lvl 8. (one below "hero")

came from the shitaraba forum, and it is yet to be confirmed.

Weird,cause my mnk is at 75.The only tenshoudo quest i havent cleared...hmm let me think.The battle against leviathan(not much of a smn fan...but i dont know if that damn single quest got anything to do with opening this quest,otherwise i got to do more zinc ore runs in bastok

Can anyone confirm if its a lvl cap or just completed fame in Tenshodo?

It has been confirmed that you need a level 71 MNK, hero Tenshodo fame, and the Purple and Brown quests completed to accept the Black Belt quest.

Even if you have no open quests with Tenshodo you will likely need to turn in more Zinc Ores or Yagudo Necklaces to get up to hero fame if you have Levithan fame.

Lv cap yes, Toshendo yes, I remmeber my girlfriend didnt sleep a whole night to get toshendo fame. she brought all 3 black belt items and the quest didnt activate.
Oh yes, dont throw your brown belt. you need to give it in for the black belt quest.
zinc ore is best way in my opinion, i forgot the riceball price needed though
