lvl 50 Enkelado's Bracelets?

Hi all, first post here after being a long time reader/lurker.

Was wondering if anyone has had any experience using these? Right before Ballista 40, Ochiudos Kote spiked to 450k, and I decided to sell mine for a 70k profit . Decided to use that money, and buy a sniper ring as well as these bracelets (+15hp, +7str, -4dex/agi). Since most mobs I will likely be fighting will be hard shelled (beetles/crabs), I figured it might not be a bad alternative to Ochiudos Kote. My STR is at 73 with food at level 51.

Any thoughts?

as an elvaan i wouldn't take the dex hit but i dunno i'd suppose they could work

good approach i would say, since yer a mithra -4dex isn't a big deal and yer already lack of str so that would probably make it up, then again i would prefer the kote since it Looks much better

Yeah the bracelets are a good choice for Mithra MNK as you progress through the levels, but as an Elvaan the DEX hit is just too much so I never bothered with them.

I just got my Exocets for Ballista yesterday (low delay weapons are way more useful than super high delay - in Ballista anyway).

Let me just say...THANK YOU for enlightening me to this line of bracelets! I was dreading having to spend 450k for +20 ATK...

As a former Bard, I regularly boosted attack by 40 and I can't say I saw a signifigant damage boost. I can't imagine +20 atk at level 34 would be very signifigant at all....+5, then 7, then 9, and I think there's a fourth with a +11 boost to strength, would be much better, in my opinion

hehe np. Many elvaans decide not to use these since you get a hefty dex hit, but with the right items you can make that up. Ultimately its up to you.

I got a chance to try these yesterday on IT++ mobs. My group didn't exactly know where to level at 51, so we went to Kuftal Tunnel and fought Robber Crabs o.O. We were the lowest lvl group there (a sign that we shouldnt be fighting them yet lol), with the second lowest group being 2-3 levels above us. Fights were very long, but I was able to do some pretty good damage compared to other melee. Raising strength definately helps against IT mobs which H2H is weak against, such as beetles and crabs. With food, I have 76 STR at level 51, which seems ridiculously high for a Mithra. I went all out STR and am pretty happy with the results. Besides damage, accuracy is even better than before because I was able to buy a Sniper Ring with the money I got from selling Ochiudos Kote.

Haha, I probably won't be getting any sniper rings until I find a VERY good way to farm (or I get into a BCNM party with tons of beastcoins to spare). I'm probably stuck with courage rings for quite a while, which isn't at all bad, but I'll be mainly dependent on the Mithra's innate high accuracy, and whatever I can manage to squeeze into my weapon slot.
