Couple Equipment questions

Hi

I'm a level 16 monk now and I've managed to farm up around 10k gil, and I have a little money to throw around now

Just wondering which is better for monks either battle gloves(acc +3, eva +3) or the Bastokian gloves(forget name, but it has hp +2, mp +2 and atk +3), is it worth giving up the attack for some acc?

Also I'm still using the power gi, for the +1 str bonus, should I upgrade to bone harness or should I continue to wear this until lvl 20 when merc gi becomes available.

Battle Gloves will last you all the way until you get Ouchido's Kote at 34 or Temple Gloves at 54 beleive it or not.

MNK don't get a lot of useful armor for hands early on, but the Battle Gloves will serve you well for a long time.

Agreed. Stick with the battle gloves, as they will last you forever and aren't too expensive. I'm still using them at 28-9.

Personally, I've always liked the plusses that the various gi's have. I went from power gi to merc's, then to windhurstian gi...skipping the regular gear. I've not been disappointed.

I used the Battle Gloves, the +3 acc is great. Until you get either RSE for your race... depending on what you are you get certain stats, or you can afford the Ochiudo's Kote, use the Battle Gloves.
