What could I do with a monk?

Right now in the game I am a lvl 21monk and a 10warrior and I am confused on where to move. I originally wanted to be a dragoon/monk, then I heard that was a bad combo, so then I wanted to be a samurai/monk, but once again I heard that was a bad combo. So I was just wondering...What would be the best choice fora monk at lvl 30, should I just forget the whole advanced job thing, or should I just stick with my original dragoon/monk decision. Please help I feel very confused and sad.:confused:

Monks aren't that great at being sub jobs really. You're better off keeping Monk as main and subbing something else. The 3 that I have heard work best are, Mnk/War, Mnk/Thf and Mnk/Sam.

Perosnally I'm going Mnk/Thf. And possibly going to try out Mnk/Sam when I get to level 30.
