Skill Question

My level 9 monk's skills are progressing nicely, but I noticed that guard is supposed to be a favored skill, yet my goes up very rarely if any at all.. It's only at like 10 or some such.

Is there something I'm missing?

that's normal, so don't worry.

the guard skill is so slow to lvl up. i'm lvl 61 mnk but my guard skill sucks... it's still like 110 against the cap of 207... in a party, mnk won't be a tank especially at higher lvl, so u have less chance to train that skill. that's what most mnk's r like, so u r not left out...
