Hello everyone, I'm new here, and i'm curious about monks.

Hello, I just registered about.. 10 minutes ago. =]. Seems like a nice little community. I have a level 10 Hume Monk on the Leviathan server, and i'm a bit concerned about my monk. I have good equipment (well, it matches my level) on my monk and a Legionaire's knuckle equipped as well. I do more damage without my weapon than I do with it, but my actual hand-to-hand speed is much slower than that of wielding a weapon. Any suggestions to help my problem? or any suggestions on decent level 10 monk equipment? I'd be very appreciative for all help I recieve.
