MNK/SAM-please elaborate

i know for a fact that when i get the game, im going to be a monk as main class, but how does monk/samurai sound?
i heard that as a monk, if you use hearts eye, the monk will counter. i also heard that the monk has good STR and VIT, and also TP
please elaborate on this! =D

crud! im sorry people, when i said as a monk you use hearts eye, i meant samurai. sorry!
