monk/summoner a good combo?

Yea i dont have the game yet but im hoping to have my main class as monk then have my second as either summoner or white mage. For all who are in beta is this a good combo? Suggestions?

no, mixing melee with mage is horrible, you won't even have enough MP to do anything useful, especially if you want to sub SMN, if you are wanting to attack and cast magic, be a RDM
