Nope folks, he's not talking dirty.

The Shen Men is an accupuncture point, and despite the anglicized version of the name being "Heavenly Gate" it's not a sexual reference.

The Shen Men point is mostly used to alleviate pain, apprehension, fear, anxiety, is often used in the treatment of addictions, and occasionally liver dysfunctions. It also has ties to the Spleen and Lungs.

As far as how effective Accupuncture can be, I can't say for sure if it can do everything that practitioners claim. But I know it for sure can be used to suppress pain.

I watched an open-throat surgery to remove a cyst from the vocal chords of a woman. No anesthesia was used. She was consious during the whole thing and was chattering away like a magpie during the entire operation.

Impressed the heck out of me.

But...sense where on Chakra Qs ....I need someone who has played EQ for this...Is Charka the same as Mend...i mean, Amount between uses..the amount of HP..ETC! i know they both Heal

Almorit (Monk dude on FF9) made the game cheap with CHakra on others...Wow Vivi you have a personal mana battery keep casting your ass off =D ...(( and yes casting flare on all targets for 6000 dmg compared to 1 hit of 5000 isd a better thing to do -_^)


Also Dawn can you suggest some more books, for learning all about this stuff...even things to help open minded ness... if that makes sense...i love the idea and concept of all of this Thanks

Chakra is very similar to EQ's mend. 5 minutes between uses, heals a significant amount of HP. It doesn't use TP, and it's self only.

i got tired of reading some of hte posts so if this has already been mentioned sorry for redundancy but... Charkra heals an amount determined by your monk's vitality stat. Also, items you equip may give you some MP however monks have no abilaties that require MP to activate

I find the word chakra sounds like a seasoning, so it's history isn't important to me. As long as it heals its good for me.

huh i only checked the 1st and 3rd page so im not sure if its been answered, but 2 thinga bout chakra:

1- The amount of hp gained is 2X ur VITality

2- Its usable once every 5 minutes, and doesnt require any kind of mp/tp/hp/whatsoever

Think thats pretty clear lol.

Oh and its lvl 35 if anyone didnt know...

in addition to recovering some hp, chakra heals poison and blind. when u get an af armor (body), it also heals paralysis. having af armor also increases the hp recovered to vit*3.
