Okay then, here we go.
Pros:
-Lances, once you can use them, do insane ammounts of damage with a reletively high delay time. But even as a taru my damage has been comparable to hume drks and the like.
-Your wyvern attacks at abour the speed of a 1H sword, and for about half as much dmg as you'd do with your lance.
-I havn't recieved level 50 Super Jump yet, but supposedly it makes you invincible in the air for a lil, so I'd imagine if you taunt and then super jump, it would be a nice PT strategy.
-If you sub a melee job, your wyvern will do a breath attack after your WS. This adds nicely to a renkei's damage, and at higher levels your wyvern will get smarter and use breaths of the element that'll damage more than others. If you sub a mage job, the wyvern will heal you after you do a WS.
-The AF is very seksy (in my opinion).
Cons:
-Lances are pretty slow, but your wyvern makes up for that if he's summoned.
-Dragoons have the armor choice of red mages, essentially. So no heavy platemail for you. But still, it would be pretty hard to jump in that stuff... despite ninjas being able to wear it. Bleh.
-Because of the armor thing, you don't take hits very well, especially if you're a taru *cough*, but if you sub somthing other'n war this isn't a problem. And you're still not as vernerable as a dark knight.
-You can't heal your wyvern except by sitting down, so it's advised not to use him against enemies like Goblins or Weapons that pull out hugely damaging area of effect attacks. If you do decide to use him against those kinds of enemies, you most likely won't participate in the renkei, or your wyvern'll just die. I personally avoid letting him die at all costs.

And that's all for now.
