Re: Stats on the new relic lance

Actually what I meant was that like with Soborro, if the multi hit doesn't proc you still have Double Attack to fall back on...
That's a pretty skewed way of looking at it. The fact is that if it works like standard multi-hit weapons then DA is severely gimped, in most cases its effect will be cut in half. Whereas the DRG/WAR with Gugnir and Brutal gets the full 15% DA.

How do you figure? If the multi hit doesn't happen, you still have that 15% to fall back on, and it still applies to WS too (We'll have to see how the new WS comparesd to Geirksogul tho)

Re: Stats on the new relic lance

Simple example. Suppose the chances of a weapon proc'd extra hit are exactly 50%. DA will proc on the remaining 50%. In other words, you'll only be DA'ing on half the hits, which means you're only getting a 7.5% boost out of DA.

There's a reason Joytoy and/or Ridill WARs maxed out Berserk/Aggressor and not DA.

Well yeah, but again you still have that full 15% on WS and a very high over all DoT.

I think it's pretty sweet, unless they change it, that you won't need this specific weapon equipped to use the weapon skill. Once it's learned you can use it with any other weapon of that type.

I do have one question though.. Do the weapons start out like the Relic ones from dynamis? Just in a base form and you upgrade them?

I'm just saying, the Gungnir player still benefits more, and it's not like Gungnir doesn't have a very high overall DoT.

Elvtin: The new WS will be available to all players, with or without Balrahn weapons. The Balrahn weapons simply grant a buff when you use the new WS.

And yes, the weapons have a base form that's upgraded.

I'm still waiting for the info on Burtgang, but it looks like I'm probably upgrading Ryunohige. If I upgrade an 'old' relic it's going to be an Aegis.

                  >.> there are no "old" relics as you put it.

These are classified as "Mythic Weapons" ~.^ according to POL.com

It is unconfirmed whether of not the current .dats are just placeholders or an un-upgraded form of the weapon.

I thought it was confirmed and well-known that the useless Nyzul weapons were used for Mythic weapons?

I'm kinda curious to see if the Ryunohige's boost to Jumps will stack with the Drachen Greaves boosts to Jumps.

You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be misqouted and then used against you.

I'm sorry I wasn't clear, there are .dats with the names of the mythic weapons i.e. laevitain right now only has the dmg/delay stats on it. Which is probably only a placeholder until the final weapon gets implemented. You are right though, the nyzul weapons are part of the quest to obtain the mythic weapons.

SE told us at fan fest the Nyzul weapons would be ingredients in the new mythic weapons. And yes, the current .dats for the Mythic Weapons are in fact PH, but that'll change in Sept.

I don't really want to get hopes up or whatever, and I don't really think this is the case but... I've yet to see the "aftermath" explanation put in such a way that excluded other WSs. Maybe I need to find the Q&As again and look at their wording (not that it'd help a lot when you're dealing with translators/second languages) It seems possible that the "Aftermath" effect is with any WS, not just the corresponding WS.

Wouldn't that be something? Yeah, didn't think so either ._.
