I had been talking about retiring my Dragoon for awhile now. And two nights ago it finally happened. I have done almost everything that I wanted to do on Dragoon, except full AF2. Recently their have been a good amount of new Dragoons atleast on Ifrit. I have never let myself get grouped in with the "Loldrg" stigma even when it was rampart in game. I find my self with less and less time to play dragoon, and without the time to dedicate to the job it is better that I walk away then become less of a player. I will still be around to offer my help and knowledge, but I wish you all good luck with the job and keep breaking ground!

Re: Making way for the next generation
I'm not sure why, but every time I see one of the brotherhood put their lance up for good, it saddens me a bit. Perhaps it's because I went through the same hardships as a lot of the older set did, so there's that unspoken connection between veteran Dragoon, even across servers.
Good luck, Sev, in whatever other jobs you take up. /salute

I've been lurking in this forum long enough to know you are a true Dragoon. I hope even through your new jobs, you'll be willing to teach some of us lesser ones any tricks. ;3
Although my Dragoon is only 40 at the moment, I'll be sure not to get mixed in with the lolDRG crowd. The thought of walking around in Full AF in an exp party is too much to bare~
So-- Godspeed to you!Originally posted by YygdrasilOriginally posted by NanditoPonies.

It saddens me to see one of the true dragoons put his lance down to rest, but deep within we must always remember: The Dragoon may have put down his lance, but that does not change the fact that he is a true Dragoon at heart. I rarely take up my own lance nowadays, but whenever I put my hands on it all of my old memories come swarming back to me. No matter what happens in my character's stats, I will always remain a Dragoon, and I know that you will as well.
There is a time to rest and retire into peace, but even then the true warrior will never die.Last edited by Eiyoko; 06-27-2007, 12:33 PM.
