Well I decided to forget the gae bolg, mostly because when I mention the NM to people they laughed at me! I bought the Colossal Lance, which I think is aweome, and will stick with GKL until I can use it.

I found an air tank for 80,000g and I bought it. I am starting to think about getting a group together for Bugbear Matman now. I don't think anyone mentioned how many people (say level 70-75) it takes to beat this guy. I would appreciate anyones person experiences.

I put aside my Gae Bolg as soon as I got the Colossal Lance. It served me quite well until I managed to get a Dreizack at around 73 or so. I kept that for a long time before I finally decided to go with the Mezraq.

Unfortunately most people have that attitude in this game.

Colossal Lance is nice, I think you will enjoy it. Sticking to GKL until Colossal is good choice, I would have done the same if I had not gotten Gae Bolg. Good Luck .

the easiest way to do this would be nin with a brd he doesnt spam as many tp moves so your good. if you know a good nin you can probably go drg/whm (mp setup) and nin could do well basically like on mobs that have nasty tp moves (charybdis comes to mind) nin will just solo with healing. Simple fight really. It was funny i dont actually have the boots 0/2 but me a whm and 3 drgs showed up to pop. everyone got thier boots but me =/

Did this fight last night. We were lucky that the gates or whatever were open the correct way. Fight was pretty much the nm spamming Flying Hip Press. We had a few dd that were meleeing it so thats why the aoe was so bad. Fought it twice and got no boots. I am thankful my airtank was only 10k.

Make sure you bring 3 or 4 tanks to be safe.
