Don't know where it drops, but so far it's dirt cheap (50k on Migard).

Possibly nice for DRG/SAM or with the Chivalrous neck piece (+1 Store TP).

Don't mistaken "Store TP+3" as it adding 3% TP on your attacks. To add even 1% TP onto your regular hits, you'll need Store TP+10. That will merely add 0.4% TP (lance + chain) onto your regular hits, while not making much difference in the short term, over a long period of time it will make some difference, like in every 10 hits you score in, you'll get 4% TP more overall.

I'd prefer the Martial Lance as in effect it's kinda Store TP + 1000 (at 100% TP). This isn't such a great lance but a good alternative to the Ice Lance +1, 1 DMG more then Ice Lance +1 but some slight TP bonus.

SAM's have like ... +50 TP in total? (with their JSE, Job Traits), I don't know what the exact figures are.

I've also heard that this lance gets stronger depending on how many members
in your party there are. So every member in the party is +2 damage to the lance. In a full party that would mean 101 damage, so I doubt this is correct.

Yah, I know the Store TP isn't a straight add, but its handy for avoiding those annoying 99 TP situations.

So far I've only used it in the PUP AF3 fight, so I can say whether there's any hidden latent. Based on the name I'd suspect something in Ballista or Brenner, but if its a Company Sword in Lance form, that'd be cool too.

Knowing that Store TP means it adds that much TP per 100, this can be quite useful if you have the right equipment to support it. Most lances bring DRG up to the 90's. The popular 492 delay polearms, which Tournament Lance has, 7 hits puts you at 93.8%. That means with Store TP +7, you would hit 100% one swing sooner. Tournament Lance and a Rajas ring puts you at Store TP +8.

The Martial Lance is a little more complicated than Store TP +100. You still need the same amount of hits to be ready for a weapon skill. So as far as building TP for WS power, it works better than Store TP. But when it comes to reaching WS faster and more often, it fails.

With the popularity of TP burn parties, for anyone who can get another Store TP +4 or more, this is an excellent polearm indeed.

Martial Lance has been pretty lame for me, it just doesn't pack any sort of punch and the effect is barely noticable, if at all.

Dakattack: While soloing I found the Martial Lance to be much more effective, but there are times I found that it doesn't really do anything, but seeing Penta Thrust deal more damage then it should makes me wonder about it sometimes. Seems quite random, but I still got my lance.

Mouser: Avoiding 99% TP? Good point, I totally bypassed that. I was too used to getting hit once or twice by monsters that I totally skipped party situations (I don't party). Sorry.

And yeah, I'd probably use Martial Lance or Ori. Lance over this unless it was exceptionally cheap. The price seems good, but +3 doesn;t give me...which just leaves the damage.

Anyone have a chance to check for hidden effects? The rumor certainly seems too good to be true. If there is indeed something hidden, perhaps it's a Store TP bonus?

LadyKiKi, it would have more damage, but you wouldn't get Geirskogul as a
weapon skill. But I agree, that is kind of odd.

we seem to be rather top heavy on end game lances. this one really has nothing that makes it more attractive to me then any of the others in this range.

It's a nice enough alternative if you're on a budget, but with the Merzaq plumetting in price due to the new sources of Khroma Ore (down to 2mil on Migard) it's pretty obvious what the best lance is.

I am just glad that they put such a good lance at 71. I think I am going Neza->Merzaq.

Well, my server has Khroma Ore down to 100-200k, so this is actually more expensive than the Mezraq
