yeah iam trying to get my Artifact boots. i have been stuck on this for week on end and i would like some help as i have been to the loctaions of the spawn points of this coffer and found nothing and find my self delving. so can someone please help me

If I remember correctly the quest for the boots doesn't include a coffer. You must take a walk through Eldieme and kill an NM on Batallia's island.

Coffers can be tough, though, you just have to check every location and ask around to see if you can get the time of the last open. They pop half an hour after they've last been opened A good place for maps would be ffxiatlas.com or ffximaps.com I think it's the same place.

FFXI atlas: quicksand caves

Just click the "show" treasure button on the side.

Ah, my bad. I mixed up the two, it's been so long. ; ;

As for the Quicksand Caves there's two good places you can camp, and there's two entrances to easily find them. One in the north of East Altepa, and one in the South of East Altepa. I started at the North entrance and worked my way south and eventually found it with the help of a passer by.

I got lucky and found the coffer in the first spot I checked.

The tough one for me was Boyahda for whatever reason. Kuftal wasn't a picnic either.

yeah cool i found the boyahda first time it was really easy didn't need much to get it
