    Re: JUmp moves

I once Super Jumped as soon as the blms escape went off. I got to fight a beetle all by myself.
    Thanks Kazuki.

        Re: JUmp moves

When a monk attacks it attacks with both hands, if i were to sub drg and use a jump move would i only hit once or would hit with both hands like a normal attack?

u would only hit once.if you sub war on drg, you could hit twice (with double attack) while using jump.

            Re: JUmp moves

You know what's fun? When your party is sitting around waiting for a member, run up to a non-aggro mob and Super Jump the mob, it gives them a good scare. On that note, don't assume Super Jump removes all hate, it just puts you at the bottom of the hate list. i.e. Super Jumping aggro won't make it stop attacking you, I learned that the hard way.

An interesting note for soloing, you can cast a spell and Jump at the same time, Hit your Jump macro and your Dia/Poison macro right after and you will be casting while you Jump, but you can't cast then Jump, I like doing it save ssome time.

Actually, a jump is an attack round which means not only would the monk use both fists, he could have a kick thrown in there as well. Same thing applies for Ninja, Dual Wielding Dragoons and Puppetmasters (excluding kicks).

                Re: JUmp moves

Do any of the jumps have modifiers on them or does anything effect their damage? Was reading through forums and someone said VIT affected damage. I do know Boost certainly affects it, but what about STR, Berserk, etc. Seems obvious it might.

Also noticed Jump seems to be extremely inaccurate, so does +ACC help?

LV16 DRG just started w/some friends and I'm completely clueless about melees lol.
