Let me first start by saying I am a 100% noob. Not gonna lie, I havent even put this game into my 360 (just bought it last night and had to go to work today), but Ive played through every FF game I can think of and Im not going to let one slip by me

Anyway, Ive had some off-time today in the office and have been doing some research. I havent seen this combo brought up once... has anyone tried it? Ive seen /WAR /WHM /THF mentioned about a billion times, but not MNK.

Any thoughts?

Mnk/Drg however is not so bad...

For one the lvl 30 subjob latent items for /drg give 5% and 1% haste. Jumps are calculated with a monk's 2 hits and can do pretty decent damage everytime the timer is up (300-500 with spikes for more with crits). Acc+ trait is great for a fast-hitting job like monk. Losing berserk and double attack is tough to compenstate for, yet I think in some level ranges and with enough thought put into gear, it can work out to be a respectable sub. Try it in ballista and watch some eyebrows raise when you take someone down with a 700 dmg jump!

Drg/Mnk = no
