I helped my friend walk through the advanced job quest for dragoon last night and she got to the dragon fight at end. We were partyed together but I could not get in the hut. The door kept saying "door firmly shut". No matter what I did. She died;;

Why couldnt I get in? Level capped? I'm 60 monk. I wanted to kill the dragon with her!

You need to have either finished the DRG quest, or be up to the point in it, in order to go in and do that fight.

I don't think you can go in after you finished it. I went with my GF to help on her DRG quest and couldn't enter (I already had drg job at that time.)

I don't think that can be right. I got help from a whm that said she had all her jobs unlocked. I wonder why you couldn't enter.

You have to have already unlocked the Dragoon Job or be participating in the quest yourself in order to get into the burning circle.

Jei, I don't know why you weren't able to get in. I had help from a 75 Dragoon on my dragon, and i've helped a couple people kill it.

Yeah, I know for a fact you can do it if you've already completed it. A 60+ Dragoon friend of mine pretty much solo'd mine for me 2 years ago.

Yeah really... a friend solo'd mine, and I solo'd someone else's just recently. I'm 2/2 on it.

I got DRG job the first day it came out. Then a day or 2 later I helped my GF with it.
We were in line together for a few hours. She entered into the BC and I was stuck at the door.... which only said it's locked >.>

I've killed this thing several times, and I'm supposed to kill it soon for a LS member. But a DRG48 kill mine. I think when I go for my LS mate, I'll go as RDM/DRK. Then Souleater + Vorpal Blade it's butt! ^^ That should be fun.

So as long as you've either 1) Already done it, or 2) On the segment of the quest, you should be allowed in to despense the smack down.
