    My Equip...

    My character is currently a 37DRG and 18THF (well for the second a War, but mainly a thief-sub). I am wondering what equipment I should look at as I progress to lvl 50. Here's my current equips.

    Lance
    Studded Bandana
    Centurion Scale Mail
    Invisible Mantle
    Warrior's Belt
    Bastokan Cruisses
    Tiger Stole
    Brass Greaves
    2 Wing Earrings
    2 Balance Rings

    If you need more information, let me know and note the above is subject to change. Overall, I like to get geared towards agility, strength/attack, and accuracy.

    Drop the tiger stole and wing earrings. You need Beetle+1 earrings and Spike Necklace.

      agreed. agility does relatively squat for you as a DD. I'd replace the balance rings for STR ones too.

        Yeah, get the +Attack and +STR rings. DRG doesn't have much of a use for AGI, seeing how they don't really use Ranged attacks/shouldn't be getting hit too much.

          the rings are fine. Str rings or Dex is all up to you. I agree on neck and earrings. Spike's cheap, beetle earrings are cheap. Beetle+1s when you can get 'em.

          I'll say it so no one else does: /war usually does more good at that level. You work perfectly with thieves and /thf screws that one good thing up. THERE, I SAID IT SO NO ONE ELSE IS ALLOWED TO COMMENT ON IT!!!!

            I'll definitely give up on the Wing Earrings since I know the effect now and what they do (Square Enix should be sued for false advertisement ^^). I've yet to see the Spike Necklace being cheap though, they're anywhere between 30k and 50k while Fang Necklace is only 1k.

              Well... it's hard to explain why you need HQ over NQ. High quality doesn't just provide better stats, but it looks better and makes you look better. Spike Necklace, 2x Beetle Earing +1, etc is seen as standard for melee DD. You'll notice a difference when you're wearing them.

                As far as progressing into the 50s... you're going to want to look at 2x sniper rings... a sniper and a venerer ring... or at least a venerer ring and a STR ring. ACC is always important.

                  Dont think anyone mentioned it but as far as gloves, get battle gloves. They add ACC and they should be used all the way untill AF gloves. You can jump for the sniipers or woodsman for LV 40 but rather then duel you could go venerer for the other if your low on cash. Armor is not inportant, just get brigandine armor when you can and legs not to important either.

                  Stick with Attack earrings and then after 50 you get the beautiful assalt earring.
