ok so i get on ffxi this mornin because i was really wantin 2 lvl so i could equip sum new AF, as soon as i log on i get an invite, i hadn't even finished my search comment. this also happened to me the other day, and i wasn't even seeking. now i just wanna know. why do people say dragoon sux? gettin a pt in under 1 minute of logging can't be because we suck. i'm declaring dragoon its second wind, if it eva had a first. btw, i got about 12k exp from the pt be4 it broke. has anyone else who is a dragoon been gettin it this lucky?

Its happened before to me. I logged on for a few minites before work one morning, I'd just got outside jeuno to do some farming of Goobbue for a few minites and I got an invite. Unfortunatly because I only had about 30 minites at most I had to turn it down.

Hehe. In the 40-50 range, I was almost always making my own parties. Well I took it upon myself to always look for DRGs as my SC partners during this range. If I couldn't find a DRG I would move on to SAM. Don't ask me why, that was just my top 2 preferences at that level. Anyways, I probably made quite a few SAMs and DRGs very happy, I invited many without them having flag up, and we'd typically party for 10-20k xp. Anyways, moral is...DRGs DO WORK in the right setup. Many people get too strung up about PERFECT xp/hr rate, and forget that a balanced party can be a helluva good time. I've been invited to a party while I'm farming as DRG/BRD before. So, to answer your question, your bound to get lucky when someone gets desperate. LOL4 out of 3 people have a problem with fractions. . .Comment

I would just be happy with what ever I could get. It won't always be so easy, but then again it might. Depends on how you handle yourself and your resulting reputation. Keep it up, have fun and be proud of being a dragoon.

I get quick DRG invite, but I'm only Lv.17. lol As soon as I step outside of Sandy with my flag on, heading to the Dunes, I get an invite.
But I have been sitting in my Mog House as DRK51 waiting for an invite and seeing about 10 other DRK and DRGs seeking along with me.Odude

i love being a dragoon but i do seem to have a hard time finding pt's, even though i got stacks of sushi +1 and all up to date armour. i evan have a full set of shade armour as well, but nothing works to help me get a pt.

I would disagree with that. Since most 2hrs are just instantaneous or very short lived events (mighty strikes, astral flow etc) Most people really only use them when shit hits the fan in a reg PT situation (LVLing) While drg's 2hr is their wyvern call. This allows a "7th" member in the pt (or "1/2" more, whatever) that can attack, help with skillchains etc every single battle. After two battles its easily outlived the usefulness of other 2hrs (again, this is for LVLing situations)Originally posted by doubl_

ye the drg 2h which is the wyvern does have alot more benefits than the regular 2h especially if you sub whm as you can attack the <t> and also heal providing the wyvern has 100+tpComment

You can heal without the wyvern having 100% TP, just use Dia if they are on lowish health (1/3rd with Drachen Armet).Originally posted by Draganwarlord
