To All You Dragoons...

I quit playing FFXI back in december after just having gotten the DRG job. I recently started back up this month, wanting to play DRG, and see all the bad "press" per say. Its got me thinking if i still want to play DRG or not.

So my questions to you guys is this. Do you still enjoy your DRG? If not, after seeing what you have, what other jobs would you have rather put forth most of your time into, and why?

I dont know what im going to do, but DRG keeps calling my name, i have plenty of time to think on it after all. I just wanted your opinions.

Though I'm only a 41, it seems to me that Dragoon is still just as good and active.

I'm sure you're heard DRG has been hit hard by the TP nerf, but it's actually not so bad. So you can't spam penta. It's dumb, but hey, there are more reasons to play than that.

The TP thing is something we have to live with. It's damaging but not fatal. Otherwise the same flaws and advantages apply as did before. If you like it, keep playing it.

I decided to stick with it. I just love the job and the whole idea, and wanted to go out there and be the best DRG i can, since it seems like 75% of the people ive seen recently that are DRG's are total flippin morons.

Well, I hung up my Lance at lvl 50. At least for now. I'm playing around with other jobs and stuff. I'm finding SMN quite fun. I might go back to DRG, I might not. With DRG I just didn't really feel like I had to do much. "Jump, high jump, chain with THF's viper bite+SA/TA, super jump" And, You always sit LFP for like 849698574385349 hours. -.- (Ok, that's exaggerated, but it's gotta be somwhere close.)

Im a litle confused everyone says drg have to wait hours for party but I get invites all the time.
Currently lvl 58 and right after I disbanded from my last party I got an invite again. And drg is fun, I like jumping^^ its fun to run around and jump-kill low lvl enemies while passing by.
