lvl 40-50 equipment

Hi I finally reached lvl 40 and just wondering what equipment i should get until lvl 50. Here is what my current equipment are:

Obelisk Lance
Merc. Captains headgear
Elvaan male RSE body
Battle gloves
Elvaan male RSE legs
Centurions greaves
dhalmel mantle
2x ametrine rings (currently saving up for sniper's)
life belt (bought but not used)
2x beetle earings +1

i probably should get Brigandine at 45, but dont know what else to change.

My plan on upgrades from now till 50

AF lance at 42, Mithril Lance at 48
Carpase armor around 45, Steal around 48-50
Brigandine at 45
swordbelt at 43, life belt at 48
Valkerie Helm at 43
Sniper's at 40 (already have)

Keeping Iron body till Brig at 45
Iron Legs, Feet, and Hands till I get Steel at 48-50
Swordbelt 43, Lifebelt at 48
Not sure on a head peice yet.
Ametrine rings untill I can get Sniper's
Sheild Earrings at the moment(got them from Giddeus). Planing on getting Beetle +1
Ram Mantle till whenever

Need to put in some good farming hours for the next month just for Sniper's. I'm going to get Lifebelt from Fei'Yin chest in the next few nights.

Brigandine is nice. Spend the few weeks farming for Sniper Ring's that it will take, you will likely use them 40-75 and worth every penny. Always upgrade your weapon as you can use it. Otherwise there isn't much 40-50 besides Sniper Rings and Life Belt that are significant.

Stat armor is better than getting DEF armor. May want to consider a DEF armor set for farming purposes, but its worthless for exping, and even then at that level your DEF isn't vastly far behind other jobs either. Even at 71 the only DEF armor I keep on me is Phalanx Rings, simply because there isn't much higher DEF armor than AF pieces. Even the Tiger set is only 1-2 DEF more per slot, pretty insignificant in that regard. The next biggest DEF upgrade is in the Dusk armor set which needless to say is quite far off from 40.

Priority should be Weapon > Acc = ATK > everything else. Of course when you have comfortable Acc, then focus on atk stuff, but both are important.

You mean stole...

I'd suggest ACC > ATK, simply because ATK items seem to come cheaper. After you get the ACC items you were looking at, then the ATK shouldn't be too hard to get.

But yes, Iron >> Carpase >> Steel. Just be sure to skip the carpase subligar.

I think I had gone with the.. I think it was windurstian and bastokian set (correct me if i'm wrong).. It's the sets that add dex and str I believe, and more accuracy and attack if your in a region your nation controls (one of the pieces might have been acc+3, and for a 15-20k equipment piece, thats not too shabby.. only in certain regions though)

if your nation tends to be in the lead most of the time, then I dont see why you would skip these pieces for the higher defense ones. The idea is your not supposed to take damage anyways, and even then, if you have the money and want to be safe, bring along some extra defense gear and make equipment macro switchs, like switching between snippers and phalanx rings so you dont get eaten.

Yeah... I have to look good. And since I'm not having any trouble with my currant equip, I'll stick with it. I miss like 3 out of 10 hits on most of the stuff I fight.

after i get 1 sniper's ring ill probably change my whole armor set to Iron scale. change the body to brigandine at 45 and by then i should have a second pair of sniper's. Life belt is waiting in my MH

70% is a D, I doubt the +3 ACC would help at all, but the gloves don't cost that much. I have them...and I have no job that uses them. Go figure.

prices went up on sniper's ring to 300k each

so far im at 120k so by this weekend i should have enough to buy one ring
