what use to use at 60+ penta or skewer?

seems like every body says penta is better then skewer since you can go spamming it alot but skewer is only 2 hits behind and i bet it does more dmg. that would suck though if penta is better.

i think you can chain Penta >>> Skewer.

so just sub sam and do both.

Also, I beleive penta is used more in renkies than skewer is. I could be wrong though.

Your best is to start off with Penta, than use Skewer.

Full hit Penta is 60%, and the odd occasion is 72%. With 2 jumps, 1 swing in between, you end up with 96%. If you use Skewer, you have to wait quite a bit to go again.

Now I been told Penta renkeis with Skewer. Unless my chart is incorrect, how is that possible? In my chart, Penta and Skewer is in the same Box.

Penta > Skewer will renkei.

Penta and Skewer at their 100 TP base are equal, but extra Penta TP goes to damage, to Accuracy for Skewer. Penta is stronger overall because of that. Skewer is used for better renkeis, either starting Incurve or ending Nucleate.

I find that Penta => Skewer renkei is ineffective at best. Which WHM is really going to Holy burst from it?

In the end, just spam Penta until your thief catches up. Then you're set for a nice Skewer => Dancing Edge.

Edit: Forgot to mention. The added damage from the Penta => Skewer renkei is like, extremely shit. Hi 10 damage transfixion.
