Now Drg is SO PLAYED OUT in my server. Its like I was the one to start all the hype...

They all choose Raiden, Buster, and one other one cause they are unoriginal and horribly idiotic.

I chose Azure as my dragon's name, i think it would be kinda cool being able to come up with your own wyvern name.

When I chose my name I went through the list to try and find a name I hadn't seen a lot around my server. I finally chose "Nanaja" because I hadn't seen it at all, but as soon as I changed my job and went out to Rounfare to train I saw a little taru dragoon whose wyvern's name was NANAJA!!!!!
I was so mad! But I don't see them a lot any more !

you say its safe we can not choose are own dragons name? for what reason, to prevent stupid names? like we dont see players running around with lame a@$ names. blah thats just stupid. some of us would like to make our own names to fit who we play as, an are. id love to see a patch come out where we are able to, if even for a fee.
the game wants you to fit in a role, an such. well what role are we playing by being handed a list of crappy names, an being told to choose one. i personalized my chars looks, his race, an his name for a reason. now id just like to see that for the baby wyvern.

Hey Dworkin, the crappy ass names you mentioned are because we are able to choose our names. Not being able to choose our own names freely is crazy, but let us do it for our wyverns, and we get even crazier.

I guess when you have a crappy ass name you just don't know whats going on.

i chose lumiere ....i hardly play drg but in the 6 levels -_- my wyrven died in the first 10 minutes lol >_<...in all my levels ive only seen 2 other lumieres on my server ^_^ raiden is the most popular...george is least =\

I chose Raiden intiially only because I had to choose something Then I went to Norg and changed it to Baron.

You can see the full list before you actually purchase the name change. And it will cost 9800 gil.

Well I am not a Dragoon yet but I soon will be and I am going to choose the name Lumiere.
Why? Hehe, I have the best reason.
My characer's name is Solantis... Sol is Latin for Sun.
My Wyvern will be called Lumiere... Lumiere is Latin for light.
Get it? Sunlight!

I chose Lumiere. It sounds like Luminare from Chrono Trigger. Maybe latter I'll change it to the similar sounding longer version.

I have absolutely no defense for "Rover."

Personally, I like the French names: Lumiere, Lumineux, etc.
