drg/blm?

Ok..umm I know dragoon/samurai is good..but I can't play a Final fantasy game without magic! Well are dragoon/blackmages good? or at least decent...or should ijust go whm? Do the spells do ok dmg..if i got items to raise INT? Help please=/

Please, please, please don't do DRG/BLM. If you want magic, play a mage... don't sub in a weak magic subjob and pretend.

/BLM offers very little MP for non-mage main jobs, and none of the offensive spells will do any damage, no matter what equipment you wear or what race you are.

Go wif white mage. Its pretty good since all u gotta do is cast a spell for ur pet to heal ppl in ur group (below 1/2 hp with af helm on). Low mp wont matter coz all u gotta do is cast a low mp spell eg cure for ur pet to throw off a heal for ur group (or even u).

But if ur race is galka, its gonna be tougher to lvl ur white mage to 30, another advantage of white mage is u get the hp regen passive ability which heals u over time. (great for melee classes)
