Dragoon or Ninja

Greetings.....as you can tell my name is Xelgadis....I was a beta tester...but never got the chance to test the expansion jobs...I'm trying to make a decision as to what I want to play as....I played a thief and a warrior in the beta so I know what they are like....now I need to pick an advanced class I'm thinking either Ninja or Dragoon.....what are some of the advantages of playing a dragoon and the disadvantages

dragoons are damage dealers. when subbing samurai, dragoons become the best melee damage dealers in the game (60+)

ninjas are back up tanks. although expensive (buying powders for blink ninjitsu) ninjas can become the best tanks in the game if subbing warrior for provoke

DRG are best melee damage FROM LVL 40-60 After 60 it goes back to DRK.

Where do you guys get these facts? Best Melee from 40-60 Dragoon? Try a PT without a Thief and come back and say that. 60+ again you have to have a Thief. I'd say we give the best melee tag to a job that every PT needs.
