Souleater takes away 10% of your current (not max) HP and adds that to your damage. Example...

Swing 1 - 1000 HP - 150 normal swing - 250 total
Swing 2 - 900 HP - 150 normal swing - 240 total
Swing 3 - 810 HP - 150 normal swing - 231 total

and so on...

Also... on a sidenote, Souleater works great with Blood Weapon so you gain back HP. Example...


Swing 1 - 1000 HP - 150 normal swing - 250 total - 150 HP
Swing 2 - 900 HP - 150 normal swing - 240 total - 150 HP
Swing 3 - 810 HP - 150 normal swing - 231 total - 150 HP

I personally use Souleater + Bloodweapon + Last Resort + 1h
sword for max results ^^ (Berserk too if you are subbing WAR) But be very careful in with this in parties because it draws more hate that your tank could ever handle

You forget that Souleater can be 15% with the AF helm on. Which sucks in a way cause that new AF storage NPC needs all pieces and I like to keep my AF helm -.-;

best imo is Souleater+ Kraken Club (KC) and Bloodweapon. I did it on Behemoth and Adamantoise. It's so much fun XD.

Also with Ridill drop rate taken up a lot, I'm hoping to get a ridill =X to have fun with that too.
