Hey everyone I been gone for a long time, just got back a few days ago from a deployment and I just logged on tonight to found my brother pretty much stripped my 61 DRK thinking I was going to play anymore, but my question is where are some good farming spots so I can get some cash to get armor, weapons etc... I only got my AF Weapon, Boots, Gloves, and Helm. I know it's pretty bad but any suggestions would be very helpful, I forgot a lot about to the game so anything else you can throw in to help me would be great also.

Yikes, that's pretty bad, so you'll have to start from the bottom, I'd suggest somewhere safe and easy like Beadeaux, mass murdering Quadavs you can get some quick pocket change and some low priced drops to get you started.

Then you can consider HELM activities as they only require for you to have pickaxes/sickles/hatchets and plenty of inventory space, of which sadly you have a lot of it right now.

That should get you through the basic gear so you can move to higher lvl things and seal farming which will give you the most profit. It will take some time but since you are already at AF level you have a good headstart over a new player starting with a subless lvl 1 job.

Like Raydeus said, farming beastmen for a few hours straight can pocket you some quick change, personally I like go to real low level places like Yughotto Grotto and just train the entire zone of orcs to the zone line and mass murder them all. 20ish gil may not seem like a lot, but when it's 20gil times how many ever mobs there are in the zone it can add up.

Once you kill them, sit for 15 minutes for repops and go it again going the other way. (I suggest searching the area and making sure you're not ruining some lowbie's exp spot so you can get some pocket change). Subbing thf for gil finder isn't a bad idea while doing this either.

Once you have enough cash on hand to put stuff up on the AH, pretty much any farming stop will work. Ni scrolls and blm scrolls from yags in the upper levels of Castle O can provide some income, not steady though and drop rates are variable. I like doing goobues in Sanctuary of Zi'tah (sp?) for tree cuttings, get you a few flower pots and some spare time and make them into saplings for a larger profit.

i think that if u are going to kill Beastmen for some poket cash u should go to Lower Delkfut's Tower for Gigas (to the 2nd or 3th floor to not kill pt's mobs) they drops like 60-70g each 100-120g with /thf and r not that hard for a 60+ player

Also what im doing for money recently is fishing cuz i dont like competing with other ppl farming cuz is slow and some times frustating (tree cuttings for example)
so i just go to Aht Urghan buy some insect balls at fishing guild (like 10-12 stacks) then go to Windurst and fish Moats for like 1hr put them on AH and in about 2 more hrs i hv like 30k right in my mog waiting for me (i use my mule to sell the ones im not able to put on AH)

but if u wanna farm then maybe ill sugest u Beaucedine Glacier for Blk. Tiger fangs there r a lot of thouse there and the place is empty all the time (at least it is on Cerberus) then u can sell the stack for 10k each and make some good money really fast so u can get ur gear back

You may want to consider starting on a new job as well, given that this provides a good start in terms of seals and crystals, as well as an opportunity to get the hang of xp parties in a setting where less is demanded of you. I'm not saying you need to give up on DRK for the long term, but taking a job to 20-25 or so may be helpful in getting back into the hang of xp, not to mention easing you into equipment costs given the lower cost of most low-level equipment (presuming you sell these when upgrading so that you aren't just piling on more expense). Caveat here being that some of the NQ versions of highly desirable HQ equipment can be excruciatingly difficult to sell (I've still got a Bastokan Subligar I've never managed to pawn).

The Marshlands North of the Highlands have Bees for Beehive Chips, Gobbues for Moss and clippings, Crawlers for Silk Thread, and Leeches for Blood. Sorry I don't have the precise names of everything.
