Well, this is starting to go off track, but for the record, here are my personal highs with souleater:

Highest ever:
Guillotine ~2,500 off of those G2 mobs (forgot which one, I think it was the Boreal Hound) This was around level 68 or so...

For normal situations with souleater:

Guillotine
1,700 on Spiral Hell NM @ 70 w/ 180% TP - and yes, I know TP doesn't change the damage of Guillotine (My WAR friend bested me with a 1,900 Raging Rush on the same fight with Mighty Strikes)

Spinning Slash
1,600 on Savage Blade NM @ 68 w/ 300% TP on SATA

Rampage
800 on Profblix @ 71 w/ 300% TP

Vorpal Blade
900 on W Altepa Manticore @ 68 w/ 300% TP

Spiral Hell
1,500 on Brigandish Blade (Sky NM) @ 72 w/ 220% TP (Martial Scythe) SATA
1,800 on Climbpix Highrise (THF AF2 mob) @ 71 w/ 300% TP SATA

Ground Strike
1,400 on Bodach (B. Oubliette) @ 300% TP SATA (Totally wtfmiss PLD and even w/ Cover I went down shortly after ... lolmoment)

I the Boreal Hound! Thing literally has DEF:0. As RDM I popped off a 1026dmg Souleater Vorpal Blade. NIN who went with me to help the LS member did a 2200dmg Blade: Jin though. So meanwhile it was the first time I'd broke into 1k damage for any job, I still felt like a sissy after that Jin damage!

My DRK's still at Lv.61, but the most damage I've actually seen was 2300 Spiral Hell from one of the best DRKs I've ever seen. (Souleater, SATA - but due to lag he landed a 430dmg hit BEFORE Spiral Hell went off. So 2730 in like 1.5 seconds.)

WAR friend of mine said he broke 3100 with Rampage. I guess the mobs take double damage at all times or something like that. Here's hoping I can do that kinda damage one day! ^^

Boreal Hounds have zero defense. That explains it. Even a level 1 PC has 20 defense. Basically a Boreal Hound is a Level negative 1, if there's such a thing

Highest damage I've seen on Boreal Hound from a DRK was a 5,000 something Ground Strike. He probably just got lucky with the crit.
