Skill Up Party & AF2

A few LS members needed Crawler's Nest coffers so we went today. I figured I could go and skill up my Great Sword. Turns out I was silly for thinking that.

We had MNK67, NIN75, BST72, WAR70, WHM70, WAR55, MNK53, and DRK51(me). The WARs, NIN, and BST all were using Rampage. The NIN and the WAR70 had TP every 30 seconds it seems. So before I could swing more than 4 times, it was dead. So that was a bust. We did however get 3 people their Coffers in about an hour and half.

During this time, I only gained 1 point in my Scythe, it's now cap -1, and nothing from my Great Sword. My Great Sword is at Lv.119. Where can I go, that I can actually hit something, and level my Great Sword to Lv.150 at the least?

On a better note, after that was all done, the same party went to Ordelles to do my AF2 fights. The 1st two Weapons we fought didn't last more than 10 seconds. The NM Ghost actually suffered 3 Rampages before my crappy Vorpal Scythe actually put the smack down for 150dmg. (lol)

So I need suggestions for Skill Ups, and to announce my DING!! for my Chaos sollerets.

I was ALSO one of those people not aware of the devastating power of the great sword until I was lvl 60. ; ;

I went on 8 coffer parties ranging from Garlaige, Kuftal, Boyhada, Davoi, Oztroja, Beadeux, and Eldieme in less than 6 days. Average PT length was 3 hours believe it or not and average PT member lvl was 65. The key here is having a FULL PT NEEDING skill ups. Not someone coming along to speed things up and kill things fast with their capped weapon.

I EASILY skilled GS from 125 all the way to 203 in less than 6 days in 8 different coffer PTs (I also managed to score ALL of my AF loot as well. So it was a HUGE bonus for me. I made sure it was alright to be skilling up while getting coffer keys done and no one had any beef about it.) Around 175 the skill ups ground to a halt pretty much and took their time.

Just keep at it and try to find a coffer PT where people are actually skilling weapons.
