could be. Considering you need to kill CoP stuff to get materials and be high level/in HNM LS. so CoP + really tough = end of CoP when the telephone bit is through. That'd be my guess anywho. Wouldn't we be seeing something like this in the FFXI files?

At the end of CoP you get a ring. CoP areas there is a "AF" part that is lv50 (gloom breastplate). It
"enhances darkness" It doesn't add more HP, I honestly have no idea what it does. If you're talking about the black JSE you need to kill Ouryu in an 18 man alliance for the ore needed for the items.

Look good in town. People don't care what you look like in a PT. They just care what your numbers look like. Strut your DRK AF when not in PTs and nobody will hate you.

if money is not in iuse you could try to get the new DRK Jse which is really the uber you want !!

it has amazing stats and looks pretty cool but it costs like 320 mil total ><

and you'll miss like there's no tomorrow! But Kronosan already knows about those pieces as he just saw the other thread about them. I know this because he posted in that thread And MAK, what I was saying was that I think when it spread by word of mouth, killing that guy for the pieces for the Black set became "the end of CoP" since it's from CoP.

no you wont miss cuz when you can wear that stuff you dont need to worry about accuracy anymore. lifebelt + colar and maybe sniper ringers and you wont miss a single hit vs decorativ weapons but you will deal more dmg then any other DD in your PT

And you will die a heck of a lot faster. It's not that hard to pull hate as is on VT mobs, doing even more damage and taking hate with armor that makes you eat more damage on hits and whirls, is not going to help things. The enhanced casting for absorbs seems pointless when stuff dies so fast. I don't think this armor is for exp PTs.

If you want more str for SA+WS, there are better choices (besides legs), If you want a balance of attack, accuracy and str adaman is better. Defense, use AF or relic AF.

The only good thing I see the ungodly expensive black set is that it would compilment a critical build (hecatomb slow is impractical), and a caster for fighting HNMs straight up. You would still need some way of keeping decent accuracy however. I don't know how good sushi is on mitigating that with just a few pieces of acc here and there. The plastron is definetly uselss compared to adaman body. So equiping all all black but the body would be -13 acc over all adaman; kind of ok, kind of not. You gain a lot more in str, some attack, and enhanced absorbs. Well, and take 35% more damage--enough to easily wipe on some AoEs.
