Spinning Scythe in pts?

I was wondering if Spinning Scythe is effective enough to use in pts even though its an area attack and because its an area attack it will attract outside mobs and thats not good. As for SC thats a different matter. So, in short, I would like some advice of how and when to use it if thats ok?

It sucks, except maybe for AoE, but it's weak anyway. Use powerslash/slice instead until you get better WS's.
