Well I was under the impression that all I would need would be scythe, but it is becoming more and more apparent that having Great Sword capped is also a good idea. I am a lvl 46 DRK and Scythe is capped at 141. My Great Sword after 5 hours in Dunes and Qufim I got my GSword from lvl 6-79. Now skillups are becoming incredibly rare and stale in Qufim Island. Where should I go to lvl GSword next?

Go to batallia and farm tigers. I think you can get up to lvl 110. Then go to rolanberry's field and take down gobbue till its high enought to use on exp pt in crawler's nest. -
If it's easy and has high defense, fight it. Fight leeches or slimes.. they're hard to hit and raise ur GSskill

Be wary of skilling up on anything that still cons EP to you at those levels. Unless you're in a tanking set, you're going to get beat down really badly (like try taking on the Ochus for example with a low weapon skill)
If I were you, take along a xbow and bloody bolts/sleep bolts (sleep bolts own esp if the amt of dmg you're tanking isn't in correct proportion to the amt of HP you drain with the bolts). In this manner, you can get BOTH skillups AND be able to reabsorb lost HP from the mob and also use it in tandem with your every-one-minute drain.
