Worth the time...?

So I plan on subbing THF at level 60, and my way is already 33 so I'm set for anything subjob wise really, but what I wanna do, since I have no snipers and can't farm very well, is get my THF to 45 instead of just 37. I camp a LOT of NM's... /point at signature below.

Would getting THF to 45 as opposed to 37 help me out lots with Nm drops, or would it just be a waste of time and should I just continue leveling DRK as fast as I can?

You don't need to get THF to 45 if the only thing you do is hunt NMs. TH and TH2 barely help NM drops at all. I believe (not sure exactly) that TH will add a 3% chance of a rare drop and TH2 adds 7%. I've been told that various items and consumables can increase the rare drop chances only when using or subbing THF, but it has never been proven and so far is only a rumor. The Treasure Hunters are generally there to help for farmers where the items are more commonly dropped, but you have to obtain more of them and kill more of the prey. TH and TH2 may increase the drop rate of the less-than-rare drops significantly, but as for that paycheck item... In any case, most of this is just informed guessing, and you really should get another opinion before deciding.

I read somewhere that TH2 doesn't make a difference in NM drops.. I want to level my Thief to get TH2 just because i think TH is great but i want to level everyjob up to get the full potential of the game. :: shrug ::
