Ravem scythe

Hello to all my fellow Drks. Im new to this board. I was just wondering about the Raven Scythe, im debating whther or not tobuy the the mythril ot just wait for Raven scythe. Getting the raven scythe makes sense because of the oost but my friends have said they heard that the raven scythe sux. Can anyone give me advice on which i should get? Thank you

The Raven Scythe is definetly better than Mythril, but I'd get both. As getting the Raven Scythe can be kinda hard. Raven will last you right up to Falcastra/Barbarian Scythe.

I agree. The Raven scythe doesnt suck by any means and is a great weapon. Definitely invest in a Mythril scythe to hold you over till Raven. There is also the option of "Mutilator" a 40th lvl
scythe with an accuracy bonus, you could use instead of the Mythril, but it all depends on how deep your pokets are.

keep a lv40 scythe for bc's

get Raven at lvl43
get a barbarian scythe at lvl49
get vassago at lvl58

You wont fight with your brb. scythe till vassago. Because this lack of acc will really be hateful. And if you level in Kuftal or in Boyahda on Crabs you will see how much acc/dex you need to hit them. So get a Bone Scythe +1 at 53.

scrap the bone scythe, it sucks. raven -> af -> brb -> vassago's -> dark -> death. although around the time of darksteel you'll probably stop using scythe altogether in PT.

While the Barbarian Scythe is really nice, I like the speed and ACC on the Bone Scythe +1 alot too. It all depends on your preferences.

all drk that i have met using a bone+1 or just bone usually have lousy equipment,

if you can afford stuff like assault earring, sniper ring, all the royal stuff at lvl55, etc, you know, a lot of the +acc stuff, emperor's pin, etc, barbarian scythe is the way to go, -5 acc isn't that bad, if you can manage to get a brd in your pt or get fenrir, acc is no longer an issue, i switch to +str rings sometimes with a brd, Barbarian scythe is the way to go if you want to be a good drk, i can tell immediately all the good drk by lvl50 on my server just by seeing if they have this scythe or not and the rest of their other equip
