Drk/Thf

my friend was thinking about Nin/Thf but now wants Drk/Thf, is this a good combo, please tell me yes or no and your reason for that choice, thanks

Drk/Thf is probably the best combo for a drk, but is not really effective until 60+ when you can sub thf for trick. The reason is to deal high amounts of damage on a weapon skill without getting hate. Works ok on Guillotine but you will notice a big difference when you get Cross Reaper since it works so well when stacked with SA/TA.

level 60+ you want to sub thf the reason is with a war sub your gonna be running for cover everytime you skillchain.

What if you have thf in static? (Thf main). What is the next best thing?

Right now I have war at 32, Thf at 16, Sam at 16. But our Thf is going thf/rng or some such. He'll be SaTa-ing all day. What should I sub post 60?

If Thf is in PT sub war and go vorpal scythe > dancing edge. Its good.

With a Thf in your PT you won't be forming any strong lv3 skillchains. If you sub war, Vorpal Scythe -> Dancing Edge -> Swift Blade would form Darkness but it's weak and involves PLD skillchaining. If you really -want- to sub thf, you can try this:
Thf -> Rdm -> Mob <- Pld <- You
This involves the Rdm being the trick buddy and the Thf using Shark Bite -> Cross Reaper -> (swift blade). Shark Bite -> Cross Reaper is Distortion, and unless your pld is keeping up with the tp, you'll probably just keep it that. Yeah it's still lv2/weak lv3, but with a thf in your PT your options are really limited.
