Leaping Boots or AF Boots?

The gloves aren't too bad. +3 DEX + dark... nice to have when you ahve 2x sniper rings on already.

Boots, not really good but there isn't any thing really worth while to replace it with. Leaping and wing boots are just too horrid looking and the stats aren't all that great either.

Leg: now here is a piece of crap (unless you are soloing). RK legging is 24058204582405x times better. RK legging, IMHO, is actually as good as the Thick pants at 69.

Body: again, not good except when soloing. RK set is still better. And haubergeon/hauberk is waaaaaaaaay better.

AF is free... that's a good thing. And it's good for soloing. I'm gonna wear my AF set when I go up against Maat this weekend. Hauberk/thickset + sniper rings kills my def and evasion so much I'm pretty sure it's more of a liabliity than asset.

Man its sad to see that most DRKs would rather look good then preform good. No wonder why lots of DRKs (not all) get a bad rep, they dont care about stats, they just want to look pretty.....Fruity very Fruity.

Please don't make generalizations like this, most DRKs i know will tell you to get out of AF for the better gear as soon as possible.

Anyway... female dark looks good in leaping boots... and republic subligar (+5 atk). If only there were more armor like chainmail in the later game (at least the form of it; stuff like jerkin/cardinal vest).

In my experience, the +3 DEX on the AF Gloves just aren't worth giving up the +3 Accuracy on the RK gloves. Overall the RK set blows the AF out of the water just by sheer +Attack. Sure the DRK AF is sexy, but no self respecting DRK wears it in battle other than the helmet. There are some uses to the DRK AF, namely the increases effect of DRK abilities, but other than that, they're gathering dust.

im level 56 wtih af1 and 2 done. I wear full RK with af2 and as i get more af i will sell the RK that it will replace. I am only doing this so i will have more funds to put towards my second sniper and in no way do i think AF is better then RK. Im doing simply because lol im poor and it would save me 4-6 days of farming.

And there you have it. If af looked bad NO ONE would use it except for a souleater switch in (helm).
