Ok, I have AF1 and AF2 done...what is AF3? Where do I accept it, and what do I have to do? Everyone I ask says something different, so I figured I'd ask here.

You got AF3 automatically when you finished AF2. The Quest name is "Blade of Death." When you go to Beadeaux for the first time you'll get a cutscene with Zeid. You need to kill some lv.60-65 mage quadavs (Saphire, I think) to get a "vial of quadav mage blood."

After that you go to Delkfutt's (where the crystal lines converge). One of the floors, I don't recall which offhand, has a teleporter room by itself (the only entrance/exit is the teleporter itself). Trade the blood to the ??? in this room. There is more info about this battle in the DRK AF thread, it's supposed to be relatively tough.

I don't think the quest shows up in the log until you enter BDX and get the cutscene.

That makes more sense. What doesn't make sense is getting a level 60 piece before a level 54 piece...lol. Thank you for the information.

You don't really get it before the other pieces. The other pieces just aren't AF quests, so they aren't called AF3, AF4, etc. The fight for your AF3 will be pretty impossible for you at this level without significant higher level help.

Once you have accepted (you don't actually have to complete it) your AF2 quest, you can receive the Guantlet quest from the galka in the Upper Jeuno armor shop. Once you get that quest, you geta pair of "Old Guantlets" from an Eldieme Coffer. You take those to the old box in port jeuno in from of the M&M's market. Then you go to castle Zvahl to fight the Dark Spark.

You can get Eldieme Coffer keys at about lv.55, and Davoi (pants) and Oztroja (body) Coffer Keys at about lv.58 (assuming you are in a normal 6 person party of all the same level people).

Yes, I knew this, but just the order they have it develop in...just seems a bit odd. AF2 was a piece of cake, after I got pissed and basically forced some people to help...lucky they were more willing than I thought. I know the others will be harder, but I hope I can get lucky.

next you'll want to do your AF gloves in Eldieme. get a party of lvl 60's to kill tomb mages and warriors.

I think I may try to get people that will help me with all of them. It will take some time, but there will be some people.

I found that a better way to get help was to offer help yourself. Every bit of my af that I got I had someone helping me that I had helped before. Dont ask for something you aren't willing to provide yourself...

Just because you're annoying sometimes (and you are, you said you'd come for AF2, but just pretended you weren't there? Take off). I know alot of people 60+ and a linkshell with alot of 70+ that will help. They've been looking for coffer hunts and skill up partiest. You need to learn, just because something happened to you doesn't mean it will happen to everyone.

but u should know, my LS members have helped you get your AF2, so in my books, you owe them.

if u can get your full AF without shelling out cash, great.
