If you want fast exp one o fthe best party setups at 60+ would be:

nin/war -> blink tank > pld tank, noone fights mandragoras at this level
drk/war -> higher dmg then /thf, must have a good ninja
rng/nin -> high dmg, renkeis well with group
rdm/* -> refresh, dispell, main healer
brd/whm -> acc, atk, ballad, dispell, back up heals, debuffs
blm/whm -> MB on the great chains from the above melees

This group will have no problem at all doing a high dmg light skill chains, giving the BLM more options to MB. Who ever said its pointless to have a rdm and brd in same group clearly hasnt played the 60+ game, 6mp regen is huge.

It's huge but not nessicary, and DRK/WAR negates all the benefits of having a DRK in the PT. The real damage comes from Sidewinder and Empyrial Arrow. And the RNG can't do it that much unless the DRK puts ALOT of hate on the NIN or PLD. As for the BRD and RDM in one PT. I've never run into a situation where this is nessicary, unless your mages are horrible at MP managment or your tank is a MP sponge.

One of two parties I've found to be the best.
Before 60, I would've replaced the drk with a thf, but now that drk's can fuidama, I like them better (better TP return on ws's, and now that they're all actually using the +accuracy gear they should be using, they don't suck).

        Either:
        Pld/War
        Drk/Thf
Rgn/War (too many sub nin.../war is so much better)
        Blm/Whm
Rdm/Brd (or w/e...rdm sub not important)
        Whm/Smn (or /blm...both fine)

This party can take just about anything real easy, real fast. Replace the Drk/Thf with a Mnk/War (who until 65 doesn't really hotshine drk's again) and you'll have the party I did that pulled 5k/hour in Cape Terrigan (we probably would've made better time had there not been 3 other parties there at the same time...as is, our taru rgn was ridiculously good at pulling). Probably would've been even better with a drk to fuidama back onto the paladin when the ranger drew hate, but to be honest, it's just overkill (if you're fighting something that doesn't die to a sidewinder + x + blizzaga II / thundaga II burst when it's anything less than 80% health is probably too hard for your level).

        OR:
        Nin/War
        Rgn/Nin
        Drk/Thf
Blm/Whm (/smn if you're not fighting anything with status effect)
        Rdm/Brd (or /whm)
        Brd/Whm

This is one of those CRAZY parties that I've pulled. Averaged about 5.5k exp/hour, limited mostly by clearing all the mobs in the area. With a ninja tank, you *really* don't need to heal much at all. That free's up the redmage from having to use too much MP, so not having a mp subjob isn't that big of a deal. Also, having a /brd and a brd/ is nice - Instead of getting just Refresh/Ballad/Ballad II, you *also* get Learned Etude (+6 int). Melee's can get 2 Madrigals AND a minuet. With a good set of players, this party is simply ridiculous. Since you have a ninja tank, the ranger will almost certainly pull aggro with sidewinder, so the drk can just fui-dam onto the ninja. Personally, this is one of my favorite parties I've ever had. Works best against mob's without a poison attack (or other frequently cast DoT spell).
        For The Horde!!
Current Gil total spent on gear:
        3,235,000
        Current Gil Value of gear:
        1,151,000
Laughing when new players complain about prices:
        Priceless

A good ninja does not need fuidama to hold agro. I've grouped with some really good(and rich) JP ninjas that held agro off a ranger going all out. The key to the renkei isto make sure the chain finishes or comes close to finishing the mob off. And if agro is a problem for the ninja, /thf could always be used And drk/thf does not negate allthe benefits of having a drk in group. They are there for dmg primarily, agro control is just anice benefit.

a rng going all out ou mean using sidewider right??

its hard to nearly impossible for a ninja alone to hold aggro after the rng uses the ws. Even for rich ninjas will find it nearly impossible to do so without a thief.

Best party set up I've had was:

                DRK/WAR (me)
                RDM/WHM
                BLM/WHM
                BRD/WHM
                WAR/NIN
                RNG/WAR

About ~6000 exp/hour. More if we didn't have to wait for Guivre to go away so we can resume, I also got DC about 2 times so that made me lose a few more exp and more downtime.

A big thanks to all who shared your good PT setup. I really appreciate the information you guys give. I am seriously thinking about viable options for putting a PT up together post 60 and I think I have found that RNG is DRK's best friend.

Does anyone know how I can add more voting options to the poll or do we need a mod to add options?

I am not sure if we want to add ninjas as the tank for the options because I heard rumor that SE may nerf NIN's ability to tank (lenghthen Utsusemi cooldown time).

I wonder if a mod is willing to add some more options for me :
                    NIN/DRK/WAR/RD(WH)M/BL(WH)M/BRD
                    NIN/DRK/DRG/RD(WH)M/BL(WH)M/BRD
                    NIN/DRK/MNK/RD(WH)M/BL(WH)M/BRD
                    NIN/DRK/THF/RD(WH)M/BL(WH)M/BRD
                    NIN/DRK/RNG/RD(WH)M/BL(WH)M/BRD

                    Ok, thanks again everyone

I madea typo evol. Not sure what you're problem is with me...but if you're just going to make vague comments, why waste your time posting.

99% of the time i'd rather have a drk/war in group then a drk/thf. A good tank can hold agro well enough that i'd rather have the extra dmg from drk/war over drk/thf. A properly executed skillchain will finish or nearly finish a mob off, that way, the dmg dealers dont have to worry about holding back on the skillchain.

                        Junon, who's your tanks?

I need to party with them. A PLD last night had so much trouble keeping hate last night after I put on Barb Scythe and Life Belt (Recently got them both). I went from 60 to 70% hit rate to nearly 90% hit rate and my damage went from normal to OMFG. My criticals did twice to even thrice my WS which is ... crazy. If I could afford Sniper's Rings, I'm sure I'd be dying every 3 battles.

Well that is your opinion, and you are entitled to it.

However I think it's shortsighted, to pick a DRK/WAR past 60....DRK does good damge, but most of the damage 65+ comes from MNK, RNG and Magic Bursts. For those classes to let loose, you need someone to keep emnity on the tank. Especially with Ninja who has a hard time.

lv63-66 On Proccessionaires is a very different situation, I found the best party was

                            DRK/WAR or /SAM
THF/SAM << don't know about this it was prior to yokodama patch
                            WAR/SAM
                            RDM/BLM
                            BRD/WHM
                            SMN/WHM

This won't work in any other monster setup processionaires are the last low evade, low defence monster in the game I believe. Basically I had no renkei, and thf/sam could keep up TP on par with a DRK/WAR, spamming dancing edge at the same time as guillotine, or i suppose they could do it after guillotine, nevertheless monsters would be dead in seconds, very good exp.
