Why NO /SAM???:(

Ok I always have done search all DRK on my server 60-75 and not one EVER EVER EVER has as his subjob SAM....

Yes I see what Awntawn was saying about DRK/SAM will produce a WHOLE SHIPLOAD OF HATE..BUT STILL!!!

ABSOLUTLY NO /SAM and EVERY high level drk I talk to ingame says /THF gives you NO hate and is the most damaging sub there is for DRK...Im COMPLETELY lost lol ow well.

But everyone on forums says /SAM will definitly do the most damage!

Is it maybe cause no one even lvls /SAM in thier entire lifetime?

Im NOT asking the same question as before...you know.."What is the best subjob for drk handsdown"

I just simply want to know why NO ONE has it..... ..EVER!

Now heres my other important question:
Awntawn is your SAM still only lvl 10? I hope not....I can't find one person that has sub 30SAM.

Well before I actually got the game my plan was to be a DRK/SAM but now that I play the game and know the meaning of hate I really reconsidered it and am planning on being DRK/THF. Only good use for subbing SAM and not dying I would think is if you're helping low lvl guys and want all the hate. If you're going to be getting the hate might as well spam the hell out of WS i guess.

ok... since this wasn't really covered, ill give u the gist of it. dark/war is the most dmg'ing sub 1-64, at 65 that is when u get spinslash and cross reaper. both are good to close renki's for lvl 3 light/dark effects.

the reason why sam is not that great is it isn't meant to spam only guillotine every time, it is so you can use guillotine and be able to renki with other jobs. i.e. thief. the sam sub also gives a poor boost to str so lower dmg and not alot of choices of sa.

the reason why war is most damage dealing (1-64) is that the passive and active abilities are very good. berserk/warcry/double swing add alot of dmg more than adding in 1 extra ws every 3mins.

the reason why Thf sucks 1-59 is that there is no hate controlling factor (trick attack) so your just doing less dmg, while not being able to help control with hate. it is the best sub so far for 65+ because sneak/trick/spinslash or cross reaper multiplies the dmg of the ws/renki.
