ok the lvl 73 scythe 97 dmg, its goin at AH's on midgar for like 5-15k i dont understand, i thought it was just a fluke but everywhere i checked on midgar its going as cheap as that why!!!!! why the hell is it so cheap where does it drop from or whatever?

The reason I personally think its selling so cheap is because there arent too many people who are using it yet. Once people start getting closer to that lvl and start buying it more often it will start getting more and more expensive. At least that's the way I'm thinking it's going to work.

that's a lot the same as the Ancient Magic for BLM. Selling for around 5K on Lakshmi in Windhurst. I almost bought one just as an "investment" but I didn'thave the money to drop on something I wouldn't use for another 40+ levels...

some very high level EQs are very cheap, simply because their droprate is very high.
supply outweighs demand, so the price drops.

Stuff isn't priced based on how powerful it is; it's priced based on how hard it is to acquire/make in comparison to how many people want it. Death's Scythe is so easy to make that there's plenty to go around to everyone.

lvl 90 Blacksmith
lvl 55 Alchemy (Alchemy is the sub synth.. for those who don't understand, do some synthing)

Fire Crystal + 1x Steel Ingot + 3x Darksteel Ingot + 1x Yew Lumber + 1x Grass Cloth + 1x Demons Blood.


That is the recipe for it. Everything is relativly easy to attain, if you have the lvl.
