Help with DRK Quest

Hi, I suck at this game 8[. SO I got lvl 30 after a long day, and got to baskot to do the drk quest I talked to the little galk got the quest. When I got palb mines I.... got lost. After about 20 mins of walking around I got the a elevator and took it up one so I guess thats the 2nd flood then I got lost there... then when I was looking around I got mobbed from about 20 turtles... died, and deleveled back to 29 and I am now lvl 29 and in jenuo 450 exp away from lvl 29. help I just want to know how to get to the 3rd flood. Ty for your help.

First of all, as long as you picked up the quest, you can still finish it, so no worries about being 29 now.

As for what to do, first priority should be to get a map!!
(should be purchaseable in Bastok)

Once that's done, go back to Pal. Mines, and either run up to the 3rd level, or take that elevator. Once up there, you should be in the area where the walls look like stone/brick or something (not the natural earthen/rocky walls previously).
Looking at the map, you'll see the river flows through the middle of the map, and if you look carefully, you'll see a little piece of land jutting out into the river. That's the docks. Make your way there, hop on a boat, and pull the lever. That'll send you back to Zeruhn mines and into a cutscene where you receive a greatsword.

Once you have the greatsword, go and kill 100 enemies. Level doesn't matter, so feel free to kill every lvl1 creature outside Bastok that you see. You can also work a creature down with another weapon if your 2hs skill sucks, so long as the final killshot is with the 2hs you're given. There is no ingame visible counter either, so keep a running count for yourself. Also keep in mind that if a creature self-destructs (i.e. goblin bomb, bee final sting) it doesn't count as a kill.
Anyways, once you've done that, go to Beaudeaux for the final cutscene and DRK job unlocking.
Quest done.

Very, very easy compared to some others. Just a little time consuming, that's all.

ok So I go to the black spot or the a little part sticking out of the river? also how many elevators do you go to lvl 2 or is there another elevator to take up one more... thxz again.

the boat is on the north side of the river...never goto the other side even at 30..u will be linked all to hell and get killed....on the north side of river on the top floor..goto H-8 thats where to boat is (only 1 elevator til youre on the top floor)..take the boat back to zeruhn mines and u get the chaos bringer....kill 100 enemies and goto beadeux (south east side of pashow its not marked but u just trust me )....kill 100 more monsters with that sword and it upgrades to the death bringer (sword thats better then claymore and flame claymore IMO 20 dmg 466 delay +8 atk -6 Def)....

You sure you just kill 100 more enemies for that sword to upgrade? I'm a lvl 5 DRK now, and I'm pretty sure I've killed over 100 enemies, and I haven't seen the sword upgrade. Does it just do it automatically, or do you have to do something to get it to upgrade? Thanks.

um I believe in order for the sword to get upgraded you have to bring it to a certain spot in gusgen mines AFTER you get the Dark Knight flag... it doesn't upgrade automatically (not for me at least :sweat: ) But in any case I bought my deathbringer for around I think 500-900 gil... Its not like its expensive and its better than going to gusgen

oh i just say my friends experience XD i bought my sword just like you ^_^
