Pulling monsters..

Am I the only DRK here that pulls monsters for their party in Ifrit?

I had two PLD's in my party and none of them started to pull until I asked politely. The bad part is that I had to run long distances at times. This made me prejudice that many people choose Paladin for the name and AF armor.

i pull all the time.

drk can pull with magic and it's nice to fetch monsters at a greater distance than provoke.

other good pullers are rangers (with scan+bow) and thf (with bow+flee).

pld shouldnt pull because they need all the mp for healing/controlling hate. its usually the rng or drk that pulls from what i have seen.

Main tank should never pull.

Usually Drk are fairly good pullers, Pull using Arrows/bolts or using Poison spell.

Poison because it is the lowest mp costing spell at 5mp. and still fairly fast casting.

Order is RNG > THF > DRK > other melee.

Even though DRK has MP -.- oh well, guess it's cuz DRK players got the skrillz

i figured I'd be pulling, that's all good tho.

I use to pull all the time back on EQOA as a rogue or shadowknight. Except, I don't play EQOA n e more.

btw, pulling with poison gives +enfeebling.

oooo enfeblement... so great...lol. i pull with poison too, its the most mp effecient way to pull. i sometimes pull with bio too because i want to get my dark skills up more than any other magic skills. but dark skills are mp munchers.. i hate that. lol

Get Drain and Aspir ~_~;; both cost less than Bio.

Drain and Aspir are the best spells we get, I think. As far as pulling goes, I'm not a big fan of it. I rather have someone else do it. I used to pull quite a bit in EQ and got to lazy about it.
