Drk/???

hi everyone,

just saw the last part of LOTR and i really like the idea of being a char like the witchmaster, leader of the nasguls. you know, equiped with a huge sword and still be able to cast magic

but what is the best sub job for DRK?

Well...if any case....

Ok first of all, If you sub MNK....you might as well start getting your final party together at level 20. Because no one wants a DRK who does minimal damage, and has extra health. A DRK should NEVER be tanking anyways, so why would they need more health and a counter? MNK = Useless.

Warrior. Definately. It's probably the most basic subjob for DRK made, alongside THF. Depends what you want. In the higher lvls, like 60+, you have some choices for subjob, but before 60 I'd reccommend either THF or WAR.

Theif is nice at 60+ because you can direct hate, in a sense. However, for those of us like me, who could care less about who the hate is on as long as it's not me, well, I don't think I'll ever be subbing THF, that's all.


At 60+, SAM is a viable option, in fact, one of the most viable. After you get guillotine at 60, you can do some pretty wicked damage with TP. SAM helps you store/gain TP a lot faster, and it also gives small attack bonuses. Not quite as much bonuses as warrior, but still a very reccommended combination.

Yes myself, i have THF and WAR subs for my DRK. Once its 60 i will also throw in SAM so that i have afew options to go with. But anything besides those 3 is pointless, unless you wanna screw around or solo easys, you can sub WHM.
