i think a lot of people have a misconception about "yokodama," which means the one tank, side version of snk/trk...

you can still use snk/trk combo with two tanks easily or great timing with a secondary tank...

just have the secondary tank provoke(anything/war, which most partys have anyway) from the main tank for a sec and execute the snk/trk(Fuidama) and still transfer hate to the main tank...
or, with one tank, when the first provoke wears off, and the mob turns around when another melee puts somethin hard on it(from the other side), let your tank know not to provoke and you will use the snk/trk to get agro back on him.

it's all about communications man =)

p.s. i hate those tanks who skip around in circles like a mad chicken!!!

also, in early levs don't thf's stats help you land your exciting damage more often and evade better? since drk gets too much agro sometimes....

correct me if i'm wrong tho... =)

only problem with that is if you have 3mages(normally should) you have 1 tank and a THF, if you have a drg, drk, sam in your PT you cant trick them(well you can but its not smart) laster lvs its best to keep hate on 1 person only

Having one tank makes it easier for the Whm to concentrate on 1 person.

Drk can still Yokodama (transfer hate) onto the tank using Trick attack.

          What I was thinking is:

Usually the tank is not the one to pull the monster, so could the puller not take a few hits before the thf or Drk/thf do a sneak+trick yokodama onto the Pld.

This would be bad of course if the puller was Drg or Drk or even Sam.

This also means that the hate displacer would usually be taken out of renkei's unless the WS used is starting.

          That's just an idea though.

Mak, i do agree with you, but consider this situation.

puller pulls, pal or war prov, then attackers do their thing...
eventually mob will turn to the heavy attacker (who is directly behind the mob). before the tank prov again, the thf or drk/thf (who stays behind the tank all this time) pulls off a fuidama.
then, mob turns back and tank saves a prov for emg situations or for whm to cure...

this does req some mad skills, but when you get to lv60 with your drk/thf or with anything, you should have already devlp that ability... lol (might take me longer, haha)

Just a correction momo, Fuidama isn't the technique used to transfer hate. Fuidama is the ability of getting the high critical damage from only sneak attack.

Yokodama is the actual term for transfering hate, thus Sneak attack + Trick attack = Yokodama OR Trick attack alone = Yokodama.

Basically if it includes Trick attack its Yokodama. ^^. A few people also get this mixed up so I thought I would try and help clear it up.
