Newbeee Question About Sub

I know I know perhapse this was posted before but I cant locate it.
Well here is my Question:

I know so far get 30 (im a War ) then Do the quest to get Dak Knight as my Sub ( still dont know the location of the NPC ). Also forgive me if im wrong.After I do the quest I should go to my moogel house and then pick my sub (Dark Knight ). So great now I am a Warrior lvl 30 Dark Knight lvl 1. How Do make my sub ( Dark Knight ) as my main?
Also once I change my sub to warrior do I loose the warriors attack WS and etc? Will I also need to fight lesser mobs like I did when I was LvLing up as a warrior??? Like go back and kill in the newbeee area???:confused:

once you complete your drk quest, goto your mog house and select change jobs from the menu. Pick drk for your main job, and war for your subjob. Then you will start your drk from level 1... this means going back to the newbie area and leveling up all over again. It's much quicker the 2nd time around, especially with the war sub. You get the war job abilities when your subjob of war reaches the level where you would normally get the skill at. example: when your war hits level 5 (drk level 10) then you can use provoke. if you did not use scythe or 2h sword as a war, you lose all your WS's, and even if you did use 2h sword/scythe on your war, it will be capped due to level, and will gain the WS's back as you level up.

Thanks ! Very Helpful. Im using a sythe heard its the way to go at the higher lvls. Also been thinking of usen a 2hander Swrd.. to get some skill it for my newbee lvl 30 Dark Knight Quest or is that just a waste of time???

Sorry for the questions been playing EQ 3 + years and this game has different dynamics and such..Its a welcome Change.

When I was a war I had 0 skill in 2h sword. The quest took maybe 45 minutes killing 100 weak monsters outside of bastok.

Question then

Once I finish my quest and become a dark knight lvl 1 will I have to wear lvl 1 Dark Knight Gear now?

which is the same as level 1 war gear....
