Equipment & INT/MND

I've not seen any talk on this thread about equipping equipment that raises a DRK's INT and/or MND. Is this a completely obscurd idea.... even for a Galka DRK? :confused:

No, it isn't. It all depends on where your focus is. Not all the gear you can find at certain levels includes +acc or +dex. It will vary from level to level.

Mainly it is a choice factor. You can go any route you desire. For Galka, they can get HP To MP conversion items and then go for a few int boosts as well as acc gear. That would work in general terms.

yeah it would be a good idea to have items like that and swap them for other ones during battle, makes u very effective.

Well I haven't tried out Dark Knight when I get to play my game again I will try it but Dark Knights are so cool with humes I got tired how elvaans run =/ but besides all that... elvaan dex isn't horrible people are putting teh elvaans down

/nod. I think elvaan DRKs can look just as cool it just depends. If your character looks exactly like mine there it is cool . Small with the cool hairstyle

About the death scythe...

How often does the add effect kick in? Most weapons I've seen with add effect have it occur very rarely. Any chance that this one happens pretty often?

Hmm the cancer sword has D79 delay 480 adds wind dmg and some elemental things. Its better then Zwihander thing and 1 less dmg then mithril heart i dont see how its that bad..

Death scythe's effect is really random, sometimes it kicks in a lot, sometimes barely. Just as common as any other effect, I suppose

As for cancer sword... Zweihander has the same Damage per Second as Balmunk and Mithril Heart when D and Delay are factored into together. Cancer Sword, having 1 less D than Balmunk and Mithril Heart (and the same delay), has a lower DPS.

wait im confused again >< it has 1 less D so its DPS is lower? 1D isnt that much is it...and isnt the delay the same? since Zwi-thing is D76 Cancer is D79 mithril is D80.

Zweihander's delay is much lower, swings a lot faster.

lower delay means lower TP, vice versa, but the exact amount is hard to determine. arondites water effect triggers more on water days (quite frequently)

Can you at least make it clear on the FAQ that cancer is not a gimp sword? It has the exact same Delay as Mithril and 1 less D. I personally dont think 1D will make me want to spend 1mil gil for the mithril. Cancer-Mithril have no difference in delay just Cancer has 1 less D.

it is a gimp sword :p zweihander has better DPS. Mithril heart, balmunk, and zweihander have the same DPS, cancer sword is lower. Also, it's free and the NM that drops it can be soloed. No excuses :p
