I saw mythril heart+1 in jeuno auction house last night..

only one sale, which was from the maker->maker for 30some million to show off.

All i said was, damn.

Cancer?

Care to tell me how i make Cancer spawn? I tried trading Quus to the spot like 14 times in a row..every 20 mins it worked and a regular robber crab keeped popping, do i have to kill the other crabs around or can it be done only on specific days or is it just luck?

in my opinion, Balmung is definetely the best, then Nagan, then Mythril Heart which is ugly, and Cancer Sword is great with lv 62-66 or 70/70+ till you can get one of the better ones.

Like 3 days ago a mthl heart+1 was sold for only 2.1 million, when i didnt have the money for it cuz i invested in smithing stuff, orz.

You're doing it right, it's just a random spawn. That sword is such a pain to get. It's hard enough to get people to go there in the first place, then there's 20 haunts surrounding the spawn point, and the crab only pops once in a blue moon. And when it does, it never seems to drop the sword (killed it 3 times now):mad:

I still want it though, I don't care if it's gimpy it looks cool I just spent 2.2 mil on a hauberk, I won't have enough gils for balmung any time soon:p

yeah i saw it now heh, my LS member has it. it looks like shit, it's a blue zweihander. Like arondite, the only reason I'd see to get it is because it's free... prolly just me though. I hate those short stubby swords. They look weak.

that 5 points less attack makes Captain Reserve's Greatsword suck? >_> I was gonna use that lol....Nagan looks good but it's price tag is um...Mythril Heart would have to be the best bang for the buck >.<

ya but go camp Frostmane or find Lockheart on Midgard AH.. there is almost never any.

Mythril Heart = Upgraded Lockheart = Manticore NM drop in Cape Terrigan.

I dont mind Zwei's look.. just that when it has that blue gold trim on it.. it doesn't look right. The Blue gold looks decent on the Reserve Capt. sword though.

Mythril heart so hard to get on Ragnarok been waiting for it to go on ah for few days now lol. I actually saved up enuff to a point where im just going to get Nagan. 1 mil away .

Kuma, just get 1mil, 6 Adamen Ingots, Mangholy Lumber, and Wyvern Skin, and have that Chiyo guy make you a Nagan...give him a tip so it'd cost like 1mil

I'm using an Arondight right now until I get a Balmung/Nagan. The Arondight is the only GS around my level that gives 12 TP per strike. I don't care about your DPS calculations, I like getting 12 TP per hit. If I had it my way, I would probably use a Mythril Heart until Balmung/Nagan, but it is not easy to get. I've killed Frostmane twice, it didn't drop the Lockheart. There have been only three Mythril Heart transactions on my server's history, the first two were people selling it to themselves, the third was for 1,300,000 gil. I'm not spending that much gil for 1 more base damage. The one base damage more makes a very small difference. I might add that the sword is very cliche looking, while the Arondight looks cool. Its additional effect: water damage is nice to have as well. You'll notice that it kicks in much more often when killing weaker monsters, but it does go off on ITs from time to time. The Arondight is a perfectly acceptable GS to tide you over until you get a Balmung or a Nagan. I'm torn between the Balmung and Nagan in terms of which I think is better, though. The Balmung has 4 less base damage than the Nagan, but has +5 accuracy, +13 attack, and looks cooler. I must say though, as a Hume, I'm not a fan of the -5% HP. Nagan has a higher base damage, +10 HP, +2 DEX and +2 VIT, and has the same crooked design but is lighter blue. Very soon my linkshell will be fighting Fafnir, so getting a Balmung isn't very unrealistic anymore. If I were to get one, it would be the sword I would use for the rest of my time as a DRK.

As for your guide, Awntawn, I thought it was pretty good
